Welcome House is committed to providing a high quality, moral and open residence program to recovering alcoholics and drug addicts facing the difficult transition from treatment, incarceration and homelessness to complete integration back into society.

Welcome House Commitment

Establishing a cooperative "working house" policy of insisting that all residents secure gainful employment that contributes to the operation of the house, assisting with daily cleaning, cooking and maintenance chores.


• Providing an extensive program of spiritual support and emotional growth through guidance, individual counseling sessions, daily 12-step meetings and participation in AA programs in the community.
  
  
• Encouraging a sustained period of abstinence through breathalyzer analysis, urine analysis and presenting a well-balanced diet.
  
  
• Assisting in job interviews and providing cooperative maintenance and transportation services for other community agencies.
